The story begins in the early 1960s while Enzo Ferrari and his vehicles were arguably the reigning superpower of luxury sports cars, Ferruccio Lamborghini, a tractor guy, had a problem. He thought the cars were too noisy & rough for the road, and he hated how the clutch stayed burning out & needing repairs…
Well- he took his complaints about his Ferrari all the way to Enzo, who didn’t exactly appreciate being given technical notes from a young tractor manufacturer. When Enzo told him as much😂, a rivalry was born and Ferruccio’s hobby of driving fast cars turned into a passion- for revenge.

For some reason I have always been in competition with myself more so than others. As if the “me” from yesterday was simply not going to out do ME today. I didn’t see the value is caring what others did or didn’t do. This is the results of having a serious case of tunnel vision when I am focused on a thing. But, inevitably I’d run into someone who was paying a little to much attention to what I was doing and saw me as a threat or as competition. Often time I was a day late and a dollar short in realizing I had a hater on my trail. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, I’m sure its a little of both. LOL Anyhow, I viewed the whole thing and still do as an unwanted interruption or useless distraction coming to throw me off my path. But, I am now seeing the value of fool/haters on the path to self actualization. They come with a purpose that even they may not realize. They shake us out of our routine, knock a whole in our “tunnel” vision forcing us to see things in a different light or from a totally different perspective. You may not realize the value you possess until someone else throws some shade. I think there’s value in that. It also shows you that people are watching you even when you aren’t trying to be seen. Your gifts, skills and talents are going to shine, like it or not, and others are going to take notice. #powerfulbeyondmeasure

Enzo Ferrari could have easily took Ferruccio Lamborghini advice about the car and made Ferrari the only sports car in the world. Competition is good, it keeps you on your toes. It should strive you to do better, to be better. Sometimes listening to an outside voice is what you may need to really see the big picture.
That’s right- the guy you ignore could end up being your rival if you aren’t listening…
